Do you feel this question valid ?

Do you have any answers ?

Is it due to the nefarious activities of the invisible forces of Caligastia still roaming free here on earth ?

What are your personal experiences ?

I think logic and reason would demand a different first question: DO UB truths appear as falsehoods to most humans? And I think not, especially since over 1000 of humanity's highest concepts are presented therein and most students immediately identify significant validation and support for self discovered truths throughout the Revelation. So I think your premise is way off target.

Most human minds do cling to the familiar and reject that which is new and different - the UB calls this prejudice or the loyalty to preconception and a superiority of ego. Many human minds are also lazy and prefer doctrine given by others instead of any discovery of truth on their own. This has nothing to do with consciously thinking, choosing, or rejecting. The vicissitudes of living and the lures of materialism and the mind poison of fear combine to keep "Most Humans" focused not on "Truths" at all. It is sad to witness but obviously true enough.

Caligastia or "the devil" (made me do it) is blamed for much and with no evidence to support it. He is not responsible for typical and weak minded human choices. And he is incapable of such effects or causes either one. Consequential reciprocity is to "blame" for the fruits bad choices bring to bear. Caligastia does not make these choices....we do.

I don't believe that the truths of TUB appear as falsehoods to most humans. I believe that most humans are just unaware/ignorant of most truths in TUB. But I do get what you mean, I think its just the fact that if you take something out of context it can be confusing. TUB works well when it is presented as a revelation.

Just as there seems to be a bit of contention between the "Angels of Progress" and other angels whose missions are more aligned with conserving worthy human values, ideas and attitudes, there seems to be contention between humans who are especially interested in the progress of humankind versus those who want to maintain the status quo. It may take some serious convincing to change a conservative person's attitude about what is most valuable and most helpful to a broad range of people in the world today.

I have NOT found ONE person in the past 20 years that can read and understand this Book like ME.
I've had a few try and seemed interested but just go lost.
Some told me it was a Sin to read it.
Some told me It was written by the Devil....lol
Most just couldn't understand it and didn't want to take the time.
NOW....I'm not sure WHY it speaks to me as the Truth and that it has Completely changed my life.
The same people who believe the Bible as total Truth are SO wedded to their ideology that anything new shakes their foundation. Some I knew read the Last Section but got VERY angry when the UB contradicts the Dying on the cross to absolve us of our sins.
SO...different strokes and all that stuff.
I LOVE it and have had 3 Books and Re Read it over and over.

If you want to get some real interesting material regarding this topic, I would suggest seeking an Anti-UB forum, and asking that question.

And I believe with no time It will be self evident exactly WHO would reject the book .

Like most of you already said, it would be either those who are too lazy, too fearful, too tradition bounded, etc..

The persons that I came across was a man who is simply an "extremist christian" and believes that anything outside the bible is a "false prophet" and that Jesus already warned him against it, and of course, TUB is a false prophet to him because it contradicts what he already believes in.

Another is actually a close friend of mine, who is a church goer, (almost every Sunday ) <-- because its a MUST. And well, The minute I mentioned another book that talks about Jesus ,she got very skeptical, very afraid too, and simply showed strong signs of resentment, basically saying "STOP , STOP, I DON"T WANNA HEAR THIS ". That was even before I mentioned anything of serious contradiction. she simply did not want new truth, or even the thought of its existence.

I still think that TUB is for sincere truth seekers, most of the readers I came across have similar stories in that they rejected their previous religion, they started looking for new truths, mostly eastern religions , and then somehow the found the UB. It really is for honest and sincere truth seekers. Not just everyone, at this stage of its development, which I think is a good think because it somehow filters out those who are not serious enough about their religious lives.

And , IMO, NO! Absolutely not, if Caligastia had something to do with it, it would be too insignificant to notice, I second FoV's perspective in what he said.

But, by falsehoods, what did you exactly mean ?

I have been hanging out in some Philosophy chat rooms lately filled with Atheist whom are very intelligent and full of Rational, logic reasoning to the issue of any God concept being a illness on humanity.

and in our society... that line of thinking is growing.

So it is not the U.B., it is all faiths that are being questioned, and their validity.

many books have come out in the last decade that reason out any logic for religion today. many young ppl are reading these books and standing strong against Christians to attempt to force them to logically see the error of believing in a "Sky-Daddy" their words.

I think in part it may be due to writings UB borrows from without applying the formal method of attribution. I know somewhere in UB it tells us the supermortals use such writings to frame the story of Urantia's genesis. But I really doubt the average person is willing to invest time to read and study the papers, and appreciate fully how these supermortals use everything at their disposal to reflect the 5th epochal revelation to us. They automatically are turned off when they encounter narrations that have a semblance to other more earlier writings. For example, the narration of Caligastia and his 100 who come to Urantia to uplift the races of mankind can be found in the writings of Enoch as the fallen angels who come to Earth to instruct the daughters of man in all kinds of sciences. Also Michael's bestowal mission can be found in the Ascension of Isaiah, a pseudapigraphal work. These are a couple of examples that come to mind, off hand. Now, this is besides the fact that the origin of the Urantia book is somewhat shrouded in mystery. In my opinion it takes a special kind of mind to receive the Urantia book. I no longer recommend the book. If it is meant to be Universal forces will bring that person to the book or vice-versa.

I actually neglected to answer OP's questions! Sorry about that

Here are my answers...

1. I think the question is valid if one has doubt or seeks validation of others about TUB. I think if one is resolved within self as to the authenticity of TUB (in part of whole), it should not matter what the world thinks then.

2. I no longer have questions. I internalize what seems valid and reject what does not.

3. Personally, I feel Caligastia et al., up to now, have had free reign to pursue their nefarious agenda. Certainly he was around at the time of the writing of TUB, so he had opportunity to attempt to molest those tasked with putting the revelation in book format. TUB tells us Caligastia and his cohorts are servile to the Thought Adjuster. But it does not tell us that he cannot manipulate at the conscious, mind level. It is very possible that some of the revelations were compromised, in my opinion.

4. A dear friend of mine gave me Ubook. He thought I'd find it interesting. Boy was he right! I have tried introducing UB to others but it has not been well received. Too many questions and I have grown tired of defending some of the infamous papers (eg., the papers on race. Very difficult to promote UB to non whites, specifically Blacks. I am like a rare breed of blacks who read TUB, lmao. I no longer introduce the book to people.

@Kahanyah Pato Banton is a black leader in TUB community. He seems to have
many black friends who read TUB. He frequents Urantia message boards as well with his wife on Facebook. They would probably love to hear from yea. I have talked online to Pato before he seems really nice.

Boom said, "Kahanyah, Pato Banton is a black leader in TUB community." Small correction - Pato is a leader in the UB community, and he also happens to be black. A wonderful artist and missionary. "Don't worry....be happy" sang another reggae minstrel favorite of mine.

I think that it is more that once people know that the UB is the source of these truths, then they reject it AND the messenger who brought the truths. The truths by themselves stand alone. Sure, most people view them as impractical because that is how they have been conditioned by society, but they accept that if everyone loved each other, it would be a better world. And really, that is the fundamental truth of the UB, that we are all fellow children of a common God and that we should love each other. Not too hard to understand really. My problem is that I always want to confuse the issue by showing off how much I know about the peripherals. I start good on the theme we should love each other than when I get that initial receptivity, I blow it by talking about how Christianity has got it all wrong on some thing which really does not matter (like original sin, or evolution or whatever). If you just stick to what really matters, and let them go on believing the errors which do not matter so much (no matter how much you may or may not like them), then and ONLY then will you be successful in your communications.
