If you want to get some real interesting material regarding this topic, I would suggest seeking an Anti-UB forum, and asking that question.
And I believe with no time It will be self evident exactly WHO would reject the book .
Like most of you already said, it would be either those who are too lazy, too fearful, too tradition bounded, etc..
The persons that I came across was a man who is simply an "extremist christian" and believes that anything outside the bible is a "false prophet" and that Jesus already warned him against it, and of course, TUB is a false prophet to him because it contradicts what he already believes in.
Another is actually a close friend of mine, who is a church goer, (almost every Sunday ) <-- because its a MUST. And well, The minute I mentioned another book that talks about Jesus ,she got very skeptical, very afraid too, and simply showed strong signs of resentment, basically saying "STOP , STOP, I DON"T WANNA HEAR THIS ". That was even before I mentioned anything of serious contradiction. she simply did not want new truth, or even the thought of its existence.
I still think that TUB is for sincere truth seekers, most of the readers I came across have similar stories in that they rejected their previous religion, they started looking for new truths, mostly eastern religions , and then somehow the found the UB. It really is for honest and sincere truth seekers. Not just everyone, at this stage of its development, which I think is a good think because it somehow filters out those who are not serious enough about their religious lives.
And , IMO, NO! Absolutely not, if Caligastia had something to do with it, it would be too insignificant to notice, I second FoV's perspective in what he said.
But, by falsehoods, what did you exactly mean ?
