Dear brothers and sisters,

It is with pleasure and excitement that I report to you the launching of my new online UB-related internet radio show, the Cosmic Citizen, which will air each Saturday morning, 11:00 a.m., CST (Chicago time), on www.blogtalkradio.com The actual URL for the show is www.blogtalkradio.com/cosmiccitizen

My co-host and partner in progress is longtime UB student Paula Thompson. We have great bumper music lined up, as well as a listener call-in line for comments and questions. To call into the show between 11:00 and noon CST, dial 646-716-8158 and you will be on the air with us. Otherwise enjoy the show from your computer.

Our first 60 minute show will air this Saturday, July 12, at 11:00 a.m. CST, and will feature James Woodward, former executive director of the Urantia Association International, as our guest. We will be discussing a general introduction to the UB.

Subsequent guests will be Chris Halvorson, discussing Part I, and Michelle Klimesh, author of the Story of Everything, to discuss Part II. More guests will be announced as we continue.

I can't wait for this great opportunity, I hope many of you will tune in. If you're unable to listen to the show live each show will be archived at our internet address and can be listened to any time thereafter.

Hi Tootsie,

The archived UB programs will be stored on the blogtalkradio site under the CosmicCitizen program. As you may have seen there are hundreds of internet radio programs being broadcast from this site and each has its own set of archived shows.

I'm not an expert on blogtalkradio and may be wrong but I don't think it's necessary to register or sign in in order to listen or call in to the program. You probably have to sign in if you want to instant message the host during the broadcast but we haven't set that option up yet.

To figure your actual listening time find your time zone difference from GMT -- Google says Hawaii is -10 hours from GMT. Chicago time is -6 hours from GMT so there's -4 hours difference between Chicago and Hawaii. Since the show begins at 11am Chicago time it will be 7am Hawaii time. Simple huh.

P.S. Tootsie -- sorry to read of the loss of your dog. It's always hard to lose a pet.

The first episode of Cosmic Citizen hosted by Andre Traversa with co-host Paula Thompson and special guest James Woodward went really well. The discussion was lively, Andre did a good job as host, Paula of course had great things to interject and to include. These shows are archived and are available for download or listening -- the first one is there now and you can access it by going to http://www.blogtalkradio.com/cosmiccitizen

This coming Saturday the special guest will be Chris Halvorson and the topic will be Part I of The Urantia Book. The live show is broadcast Saturday at 11a.m. CST -- the show listing will show what time that is for your local time zone.

Congratulation!!! How wonderfully exciting and what a treat for me and others in a remote location. God Bless your endeavors and may you have a long and enjoyable experience. It will be interesting to read the blogs...this is taking the teachings to a new level. I am so happy...I will be listening for sure... :wink:

alas it still was good to hear others call in and now our movement is alive and well.

Dear friends,

Thanks for all your support. Our first Cosmic Citizen show went very well, and I want to thank both James Woodward and Paula Thompson, as well as Larry Watkins, for making that show a smashing success.

On our upcoming show this Saturday, we will be discussing Part I of the Urantia Book, as well as the foreword, with our distinguished guest, Chris Halvorson. A student of the Urantia Book since 1990, Chris received his P.H.D. in physics from the University of Colorado in Boulder, and is particularly qualified to discuss the scientific aspects of the revelation.

Here's an update for our broadcast of the Cosmic Citizen this Saturday morning, 7/26/08 at 11:00 a.m. CST for one hour. This week our topic will be The Urantia Book, Part II, and our guest is Michelle Klimesh, author of the Story of Everything and member of the Fellowship General Council. Michelle has been a UB reader since finding the book at the age of 19 in 1974. Saturday, August 9, we will be doing a show on Part IV, The Life and Teachings of Jesus, featuring my good friend and distinguished guest, Ann Garner. Ann has been a longtime reader of the UB since 1981, an ordained Christian minister, and serves on the Thanksgiving Square Interfaith Council in Dallas Texas. she is also certified in whole brain technology and gives seminars on all these topics.

Our normal airtime is Saturday, 11:00 a.m. Ct. We are scheduled for two hours, but our normal airtime is about an hour and a half.

On August 16, we will be speaking specifically on the faith of Jesus with Diane Labrecque, and the week after, on the 23rd, Paula and I will be doing open phones.

Greetings brothers and sisters

I just want everyone to know you're in for a real treat. Yesterday's show was one of the best we've done so far; it was totally Spirit-led. Ann Garner was top-notch; time flew by so fast that two hours felt like two minutes. I thought my phone was going to explode; thank you Ann for a great show.

This Saturday, on the Cosmic Citizen, we will be interviewing Diane Labrecque, and our topic is the last paper in the UB, the Faith of Jesus. Diane has been a UB reader since 1991, and has done an in-depth study of this topic. She is also an accomplished public speaker, and has Mc'd two international UB conferences, one in Montreal in 1993, and the other just recently in L.A. in 2008. She has also lectured extensively on health and spirituality.

Greetings family,

This Saturday, the Cosmic Citizen radio show will be doing an open phone segment. That means my co-host, Paula thompson, and I will be takng calls for the enitre show, no guests. Please call in with comments, questions, and feedback.

We haven't been getting the number of calls we thought we'd get; I think our last caller phoned in at the end of July. Our call-in number is 646-716-8158.

Our show can be heard on Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. CT, at www.blogtalkradio.com/coscmiccitizen.

Next week, August 30th, our featured guest is larry Mullins. Larry has been a UB reader since 1968, and is author of A History of the Urantia Papers. We will be discussing the origin and early history of the revelation. We would like you to call in then too.

In the meantime, I'm planning more guests; and I'll be writing in with updates as they accumulate.
