Hi everybody.

I was going through the AOL chatrooms today and I noticed that one of the chatrooms in the Life section was a Urantia Book chatroom. If anybody is interested you can go to AOL, go to People Connections, Chatrooms, Life, click on Created by AOL members at the top of the screen, and scroll down until you see it. i don't know how popular it is going to be though. At any rate, we should probably check it out.

how timely - i was thinking about parking myself in there (the urantia chatroom) because there is never anyone in there but a 'bot'. i do not feel myself adequately prepared to answer many questions concerning the book. still have 250 pages or so to go before i can say i have read the whole thing. <ireadatwarpspeed> ;)
i have been doing the beliefs christian room for some time. most of my time there is spent trying to get them to stop arguing! lol! sojourner137 is my aol 'handle'. this is a relatively new screen name. i have pretty much retired the screen name i used for the last 10 years being not quite the same person anymore.
anyway, perhaps i will see one of ya'll in the room some time. ;)

Sorry, I don't have a direct link to the chatroom, but I can give you this one that takes you the place you'll find it.

After you follow this link then you click "Chat" at the top. You will be brought to a window with the subjects at the left and the rooms at the right. Double click "Life". At the top of this little screen are two options. "Created by People connection" and "Created by AOL members. Click on Created by AOL members. Then just scroll down and you'll find the room URANTIA Revelation.

if you feel like saving time you can just enter "Urantia" at the search screen.

i'm sorry guys, AOL makes things so complicated :roll:


Also, as an alternative, you can enter the Beliefs Christian chatroom that was created by People Connection. I'm usually to be found there.

Speaking of chatrooms, I also host one on the IRC Undernet network. You can get a free IRC client like Mirc from www.mirc.com and connect to an Undernet server. Once connected, you join the channel #urantia.

We have a few long time readers there, some new readers and occasionally get a few curious seekers. The channel is usually pretty quiet, but some good discussions do occur regularly. Look us up if you're ever in Undernet.
