A Christian radio network i worked at 25 years ago is considering having me rejoin them again full-time overnights as a DJ. Most of the years i have been gone, they have been automated overnight with no live person. A live person there at night means a lot especially to incapacitated, incarcerated, sleepless and lonely people longing to hear a voice that cares and shares music and a message that God and Jesus love them. The Program Committee meets soon to decide. Your prayer and agreement with God for whatever is best for all concerned would be appreciated. There is much good that could result. It would also allow the sharing of positive Bible scripture and Urantia Book passages as they relate to song lyrics without directly mentioning the UB. Many new friendships could also result. The area covered by this network is currently over 2 million people.
Please also pray for me as i continue onward with the reading and message and application of the Urantia Papers, and finding harmony as a UB reader, and as a person who appreciates much of the good in the Bible, and as a church member. I sense God has called me equally to each of the above, but a certain balance and discretion is required, but i am encouraged. Obviously there are some significant differences between the Bible and the UB, so i am trusting for Divine help for these to better harmonize over time in me, and that i would accept God's truth as it actually is on a variety of subjects as they become clear to me. And, that the sometimes inner turmoil and frustration between the UB and Bible within me would cease.
