I want to find and meet other readers my area, but according to the http://urantiastudygroup.org/home.phpthere are no existing groups. How can a meet other readers if there are no groups in my area? Several months ago I tired to contact the Study Group Portal, asking this question, but received no reply. Just today I tired again. This web site seems to be the mos active. So I'm asking here for advice

Doug - Welcome back, I noticed your other post from 08 or 09 here about a social network site. Just found this place myself a few months ago. I used to be very active and worked as a study group coordinator for a few years. While a personal group is important, I am finding this site and www.urantia.invisionzone.com as amazing resources of fellowship and scholarship and acts like a study group for me....lots of issues and tangents and variable experience and many perspectives. While you seek out your Carolina companions, please bless us here with your input. Peace.

Hey Doug, I too have found myself in a similar situation. I have, however found that just knowing that there ARE others out there going through the same difficulties has made me feel a little bit more optimistic that the Lord will bring us truth lovers together.. I pray that He paves the way for you to find what you need. I ask Him to send you the right people, and that you will do great things together for the Glory of God.

P.s, You can ask God for anything. A loving father not only wants to give you the things you NEED, but also the things you WANT.
Ask him in faith to send you the people you need.

Aloha..I understand. I have been a daily reader for over 35yrs and where I live readers are few and far between. I now delight in the internet options for my contact with other readers...Good luck:)...maybe there will be a conference sometime within a close distance...
