Hi Friends,
I just learned that our dear friend Charles (Chick) Montgomery graduated suddenly today (Sep 09/17/12) of cardiac arrest. Apparently he had gone to visit his sister, experienced some stomach pains, and then his heart failed. And so we say goodbye to yet another old friend who served us long and well. But we know we'll see him again.
Well, with Vern Sutter, Jerry Evans and now our old pal Chick Montgomery, all graduating in the last few months, we are missing some wonderful and devoted Urantia humans but Mansonia has acquired some amazing Urantia morontians. They must be working on one heck of a project up there.
Chick served on our General Council for several years, he was a fantastic graphic artist, he sponsored the group art project last year in Salt Lake City, he collaborated with Saskia on the ascension poster and videos, he wrote songs, he hosted Urantia gatherings at his lodge in Taos NM, and was just a lively, funny and sweet guy.
I'm sure going to miss him too. We know it's a journey we all must make, but saying goodbye is never easy.
