It is inspiring to learn that our experiential wisdom is an endless adventure of learning and becoming. There are endless ways to improve our choices and our outcomes by greater and greater wisdom and spiritization. Purity of heart and personal motivation improve and grow more spiritual, but also do our strategies and tactics and timing and perspective improve by experiential wisdom and spiritization.
This adventure of forging and shaping and honing our decisions, by experience and at the intersections of choice, delivers our personal evolutionary progress in time, but also results in social and even universal evolutionary progress. The incremental progress of each experiential personality throughout all of time and space provides an eternal effect on the progression of the totality of all personalities in time and outside of time.
Experiential Wisdom then is shared universally in its effects on future outcomes and the realization of potentials inherent in freewill and experiential progress. The realization of potential always creates and releases new potentials for future growth by its realization to come.
The Urantia Papers deliver important assurances that the mind poisons we suffer from in this life are only local and temporal in their effects and cannot prevent our personal faith experience and soul survival and eternal adventures in experiential wisdom!
110:3.4 (1206.2) I cannot but observe that so many of you spend so much time and thought on mere trifles of living, while you almost wholly overlook the more essential realities of everlasting import, those very accomplishments which are concerned with the development of a more harmonious working agreement between you and your Adjusters. The great goal of human existence is to attune to the divinity of the indwelling Adjuster; the great achievement of mortal life is the attainment of a true and understanding consecration to the eternal aims of the divine spirit who waits and works within your mind. But a devoted and determined effort to realize eternal destiny is wholly compatible with a lighthearted and joyous life and with a successful and honorable career on earth. Co-operation with the Thought Adjuster does not entail self-torture, mock piety, or hypocritical and ostentatious self-abasement; the ideal life is one of loving service rather than an existence of fearful apprehension.
110:3.5 (1206.3) Confusion, being puzzled, even sometimes discouraged and distracted, does not necessarily signify resistance to the leadings of the indwelling Adjuster. Such attitudes may sometimes connote lack of active co-operation with the divine Monitor and may, therefore, somewhat delay spiritual progress, but such intellectual emotional difficulties do not in the least interfere with the certain survival of the God-knowing soul. Ignorance alone can never prevent survival; neither can confusional doubts nor fearful uncertainty. Only conscious resistance to the Adjuster’s leading can prevent the survival of the evolving immortal soul.
155:6.17 (1733.5) Now, mistake not, my Father will ever respond to the faintest flicker of faith. He takes note of the physical and superstitious emotions of the primitive man. And with those honest but fearful souls whose faith is so weak that it amounts to little more than an intellectual conformity to a passive attitude of assent to religions of authority, the Father is ever alert to honor and foster even all such feeble attempts to reach out for him. But you who have been called out of darkness into the light are expected to believe with a whole heart; your faith shall dominate the combined attitudes of body, mind, and spirit.
