Dear Al, I obtained a ministry certificate through the Universal Life Church many years ago. It is a simple on-line procedure which then certifies you as a minister. Voila!!! It is totally non-denominational, and requires no particular study. But since I was already studied in Urantia Book philosoph... |

Dear Joyful, I have goosebumps reading your post...I am so happy for you!!! I count finding the Urantia Book as probably the single most important thing that has EVER happened to me. It is right up there with childbirth! I am glad you found this forum, and the Truthbook site. The site is full of int... |

Dear Janice, Thanks for the link to Bible stories for children... In that vein, I wanted to let people know about some very good Urantia Book articles about this subject of introducing children to Jesus. Following are a few: http://urantiabook.org/family/julia1.html Suggestions For Home Activities W... |

Dear William, Indeed - another really good reason to stay close to the Father, and seek only his will... That site you linked is amazing. I just scanned, but will return. It is largely over my head, technically, but I understand the basic premise, and it is just what we are talking about here, i.e.,... |

Dear Radian, Thanks for your thoughtful post on this subject. I found this quote from Paper 133. It is Jesus speaking: p1477:4 133:5.9 Matter and spirit and the state intervening between them are three interrelated and interassociated levels of the true unity of the real universe. Regardless of how ... |

Dear fatboy2, Have you read about the Universe Mother Spirit (Paper 34, Page 374)? Maybe the native American peoples were closer to the idea of her because they were closer to the earth, which she permeates, and had a more intimate relationship with the natural world than do modern peoples. The fact... |

Dear Tabbas, Maybe you know this already - Truthbook.com has the entire book on the site, free of charge, which you can access by clicking on the panel that says "The Urantia Book," or there is a link on the left side in blue. It also has a feature where you can listen to, as well as read,... |

Dear Tabbas, Glad to read your post, and happy that you are so enthusiastic about the Urantia Book. You sound like a person who is science-minded, and that's good, because the book is full of scintific information - enough to fire up the imagination any scientist. And yet - you believe in a creator.... |

Dear Sarah, and All, Stay tuned to the Truthbook site. There is a new feature, still in production, called Great Jesus Stories, which highlights many, many stories and events in Jesus' life, among them these stories about the prevailing political atmosphere of Jesus' times, and the problems that the... |

The Urantia Book has very little to say about nature, or man's relationship with the natural world. A lot about evolution, but not anything like the current popular discussions regarding man and nature, and the relationship between the two...unless I missed something, which is entirely possible. I w... |

It's true that if man has faith in God, there's no need for proof of angels...I was just going about it from the other way around. But I keep forgetting that, along with exciting videos of possible ETs and such, there are an equal number of mischief-makers out there, manipulating with digital techno... |

Dear sevens, That was a really interesting video...the second one, not the first. The way those "rods" were taking off, I vote angels, although I did not recall any landing, just taking off. I think the time will come when the presence of the angel headquarters will be common knowledge, an... |

Woody, That's really interesting, because the book I bought from that used book-store has a stamp on its spine which says "withdrawn." I always assumed that it meant that the book had been rejected and "withdrawn" from a libraby or other collection. Loved your story...it parallel... |
